Launch Engineer Opportunity Located in Anniston, AL A Tier 1 automotive supplier located in Anniston, AL is seeking an experienced Launch Engineer to support and lead new automotive program launches from development through production. This role will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage program timing, and ensure successful execution of engineering and manufacturing deliverables. Responsibilities Lead new product launch activities and program execution. Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, Finance, and Sales teams. Develop and maintain program timelines, milestones, and launch documentation. Track program scope, engineering changes, and customer deliverables. Identify and resolve launch risks related to timing, quality, and cost. Support production readiness, capacity planning, and equipment implementation. Communicate program status with internal teams, customers, and suppliers. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; MBA or Master's degree preferred. 6+ years of experience in automotive program management, launch engineering, or manufacturing. Experience supporting automotive launches for GM is strongly preferred. Experience with MRP/ERP systems such as SAP, QAD, or similar. Knowledge of production launches, materials planning, and manufacturing operations. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
