COMPANY OVERVIEW

At BPI Minerals, we specialize in the handling and production of raw, by-products, and finished materials to serve the steel, refractories, and other industrial markets. Based out of the Pittsburgh area, we also have 7 North American manufacturing plant sites spanning across Pennsylvania, Alabama, Oklahoma, Ohio, and Indiana.

POSITION SUMMARY

Seeking an experienced, motivated, and hands-on Plant Manager to oversee daily operations at our manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for leading plant operations, driving production efficiency, maintaining safety standards, and supporting a positive team-oriented culture. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced industrial environment and can effectively balance production goals, employee management, quality standards, and operational improvements.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

Oversee all day-to-day plant operations including production, maintenance, shipping, and inventory Lead and support supervisors, operators, subcontractors, and plant personnel Promote and enforce all safety policies, procedures, and OSHA compliance requirements Monitor production schedules and ensure operational goals are met efficiently Coordinate with corporate office, sales, logistics, and leadership teams to ensure smooth operations Manage staffing levels, scheduling, training, and employee development Ensure quality standards are maintained across all production processes Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS 5

years plant management experience, focusing on team leadership, coaching, and mentoring Experience managing maintenance and equipment operations Strong knowledge of OSHA requirements, safety regulations, and operations best practices Experience with production planning and operational reporting Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and online platforms, with data analysis capabilities SAP experience is a plus Ability to work flexible hours as operational needs require
