Job Description

Manufacturing Assistant Line Manager We are seeking a hands-on and motivated Manufacturing Assistant Line Manager to support daily production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for overseeing production activities, coordinating material flow, supporting production teams, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency goals are met. Responsibilities Support leadership of production supervisors and line employees Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure quality and production targets are achieved Coordinate material flow, assembly processes, and production scheduling Monitor production metrics related to safety, quality, and productivity Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in real time Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, cost, quality, and safety Provide hands-on support and leadership on the production floor Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, project management, and operations teams Assist with production planning and operational goal achievement Qualifications 3-7 years of manufacturing experience with leadership responsibilities Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Hands-on leadership style with the ability to lead by example Proficiency in Microsoft Office Preferred Qualifications Experience in construction, modular manufacturing, or industrial production environments Experience with low-volume, high-mix manufacturing operations Knowledge of material flow and production scheduling processes Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
