Assistant Plant Operations Manager

Position Overview We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Assistant Plant Operations Manager to support daily plant operations. This role works closely with the Plant Operations Manager to ensure efficient production, quality control, and overall operational excellence. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and capable of stepping into a leadership role when needed. Key Responsibilities Assist the Operations Manager in overseeing daily plant operations, including production planning and execution, quality control, cost monitoring, production scheduling, workplace safety, team morale, environmental compliance, and process improvement Take full responsibility for plant operations in the absence of the Operations Manager Coordinate across production, equipment, personnel, and logistics to ensure smooth operations Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards Support the development and optimization of production plans to improve efficiency Assist in equipment maintenance management to ensure proper operation of machinery Identify operational gaps and improvement opportunities to reduce costs and increase efficiency Utilize office software to collect, analyze, and interpret operational data for decision-making Operate forklifts and trucks, and perform basic mechanical/electrical tasks (preferred) Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications 2-3 years of experience in manufacturing operations, warehouse, or logistics management, with hands-on supervisory experience preferred Familiarity with machinery and equipment operations; maintenance experience is preferred Strong sense of responsibility and execution, with good communication and coordination skills Ability to work flexible shifts, including scheduled shift rotations Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in urgent situations Fluent in both English and Chinese (spoken and written); basic Spanish is a plus Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Pay:

$60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
