The salary range for this position is expected to be between $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year, depending on experience, industry background, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position may also be eligible for bonus and/or commission incentives based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company's applicable compensation plans.

Role:
Our client, a leading precision manufacturing and die casting company serving aerospace, defense, medical, automotive, and industrial markets, is seeking an experienced Account Manager II to support and grow key customer accounts. This role acts as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams to ensure successful program execution from quotation through production and ongoing support. This is a highly visible customer-facing role with long-term growth potential, offering the opportunity to work cross-functionally with engineering, quality, production, and supply chain teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts and maintain strong long-term customer relationships
  • Lead customer communications including business reviews, program updates, issue resolution, and ongoing support activities
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, quality, production, and supply chain to ensure successful project execution
  • Manage RFQs, Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), and contract modifications throughout the program lifecycle
  • Develop pricing strategies, prepare quotations, and support contract negotiations aligned with company objectives
  • Monitor project timelines, deliverables, account profitability, and revenue growth to ensure successful execution
  • Resolve customer concerns related to quality, delivery, technical challenges, and production issues while driving timely internal escalation and resolution
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements and industry standards including
AS9100, ISO
9001, and ITAR regulations
Qualifications:
  • 3-5+ years of account management or program management experience within manufacturing environments
  • Experience supporting die casting, metal components, precision manufacturing, aerospace, defense, automotive, medical device, or related industries preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience utilizing ERP systems for order management, forecasting, and program tracking (Syteline preferred)
  • Ability to work with customer portals and EDI systems for forecasting and order processing
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and production environments
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong cross-functional collaboration skills
Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience supporting regulated industries such as aerospace, defense, or medical manufacturing
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
  • Ability to review technical drawings, specifications, and related documentation
