Job Description

  • Production Manager
  • Position Summary
  • We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations in a fast-paced production environment.
This individual will be responsible for driving safety, quality, productivity, employee development, and operational performance while ensuring production schedules and financial objectives are achieved. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong manufacturing experience, a continuous improvement mindset, and a proven ability to develop high-performing teams.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Leadership
  • + Manage daily production activities to ensure efficient utilization of personnel, equipment, and facilities.
+ Execute production schedules while maintaining quality, delivery, and cost objectives. + Coordinate activities across multiple departments to support overall business performance. + Monitor departmental performance and implement corrective actions when necessary. + Support operational planning and capacity management initiatives.
  • Safety & Compliance
  • + Promote and maintain a safe working environment. + Identify and address conditions that may impact employee safety, equipment reliability, or operational efficiency. + Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable industry standards. + Maintain organized and efficient work areas through effective housekeeping practices.
  • Team Development
  • + Recruit, train, coach, develop, and evaluate production personnel. + Foster a positive team-oriented culture through effective communication and leadership. + Address employee concerns and performance issues in a timely and professional manner. + Support employee growth and succession planning initiatives.
  • Continuous Improvement
  • + Partner with engineering, quality, maintenance, and operations teams to improve productivity, quality, and process efficiency.
+ Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing waste, improving throughput, and increasing operational effectiveness. + Evaluate manufacturing processes and recommend improvements to equipment, workflows, and resource utilization. + Drive operational excellence through performance metrics and accountability.
  • Equipment & Facility Management
  • + Oversee maintenance activities for production equipment and facility assets. + Participate in the evaluation, selection, and justification of capital equipment investments. + Ensure production equipment, tooling, and support resources are properly maintained and available. + Support preventive maintenance planning and execution.
  • Business Performance
  • + Support budgeting activities and departmental performance objectives. + Monitor key performance indicators and implement actions to achieve operational goals. + Ensure departmental resources remain aligned with business priorities. + Communicate effectively with leadership regarding performance, challenges, and improvement opportunities.
  • Qualifications
  • Education & Experience
  • + Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
+ Equivalent combination of education and manufacturing leadership experience will be considered. + 7+ years of manufacturing, production, or operations leadership experience. + Experience managing teams in a production environment. + Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and operational best practices.

  • + Proven leadership and employee development experience. + Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. + Experience with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or operational excellence initiatives. + Knowledge of production planning, capacity management, and performance metrics. + Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

  • Pay Details:
  • $145,000.
