Job Description

Overview:
Reporting to the CEO, this position supports our clientele by delivering the required results in all areas of plant operations and related, in direct support areas. This position drives results to our business commitments, continuous improvement, and adherence to all corporate programs.
Key Accountabilities:
Deliver consistent and timely communication. Set daily expectations and follow up. Plan, allocate resources and manage schedules in warehouse Plan, allocate resources and manage schedules in production Drives and supports the SQF Quality Initiatives Respond to Employment Health & Safety issues, conduct investigations in timely manner, bring additional resources as necessary to ensure people are safe Adhere to all legal and corporate EH&S standards and policies. Protect the worker and ensure accountability; Support, enhance, and provide resources for the various training programs; Ensure staff understands our daily expectations and work routines. Manages by his/her presence on the shop floor; Drive and nurture a quality culture in our people. Sustain and improve the quality programs to exceed customer's expectations and meet company goals; Evaluate efficiency of production. Create, analyze and present cost and quality data. Develop and implement programs to reduce inefficiencies and improve productivity. Training, directing and supervising personnel in the performance of their assigned duties Identify areas for quality improvement and initiate problem solving activities to improve quality performance. Conduct periodic audits of work teams to determine their needs and effectiveness. Develop programs to elicit and implement the suggestions of employees. Participate in the hiring process of employees. Schedule and oversee the maintenance of plant equipment. Direct quality control inspections. Plan budgets, understand financials and related documents Demonstrable mechanical aptitude for machinery Please state your salary expectations in the cover letter.
