Job Description

Our client, a rapidly growing apparel brand, is seeking a Director of Production to lead end-to-end production operations across all product categories. This strategic leadership role will oversee production planning, vendor management, delivery execution, costing, and team development to ensure products move seamlessly from development through final delivery in a fast-paced, launch-driven environment. ‍ What You'll Do Lead and scale the production function to support business growth and seasonal launches. Own production calendars, critical paths, factory allocation, capacity planning, and delivery performance. Manage domestic and overseas manufacturing partners, driving accountability, quality, and on-time execution. Oversee costing, margin management, sourcing strategies, and operational efficiencies. Develop production KPIs, vendor scorecards, and reporting to improve performance and visibility. Partner cross-functionally with Design, Product Development, Technical Design, Merchandising, Planning, Sales, Operations, and Sourcing teams. Identify risks proactively and implement solutions that protect quality, timelines, and profitability. Mentor and develop a high-performing production team. What You'll Bring 7+ years of apparel production, sourcing, manufacturing, or supply chain leadership experience. Strong expertise in apparel production, garment construction, textiles, dyeing, printing, trims, packaging, and quality standards. Experience managing domestic and international factories, mills, and vendor relationships. Proven success with production planning, costing, capacity management, quality assurance, and delivery execution. Knowledge of licensed apparel production and compliance processes is a plus. Experience with ERP, PLM, and production tracking systems. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Bachelor's degree preferred.
