Job Description

Overview USI/Asteelflash is actively looking for a highly organized and talented Production Manager for our location in Milpitas, CA to ensure production meets agreed customer delivery requirements and ensure that production is made to the required quality standards. This position is 100% onsite.

Production Reports To:
General Plant Manager Responsibilities Direct and co-ordinate the utilization of manpower and equipment against productivity and utilization rate targets To ensure that throughput per work order is met against the industrial engineering model and in accordance with the master production schedule. Liaise with other departments and customers to recommend changes that will increase production efficiencies, reduce costs, and increase productivity. Liaise with customers at all levels to ensure that their requirements are fulfilled. Produce daily, monthly, and quarterly production reports. Adherence to quality policy, plan, and manual, including ISO, IPC, and J-STD To organize and direct staff and to plan and progress all day-to-day production activities to meet current customer requirements on promised delivery dates and quality. To liaise with any other relevant department to achieve this. To ensure adequate staff resources against the industrial engineering model, consistent with cost efficiency by arranging shift working as the business requires. Use of overtime is a last resort and contingent on plant mangers approval. To ensure that the 5s process adhered to all the production activities and meeting 5s scoring targets. To ensure that all production resources practices displace and under code of conduct. To report any area of concern to your manager To ensure that all team members work in a safe environment according to company procedures. Qualifications Education Engineering degree or equivalent 5 years in similar positions Manufacturing/EMS industry Key Competencies Teamwork skills Work under pressure Communication skills Results oriented Leadership Liaise with customers Resourceful 5s methodology ISO, IATF, and

Standards Safety & Environmental Standards The expected pay rate for this position is $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 depending on specific skills and work experience.
