We are looking for a hands-on Production Lead / Manager who can oversee daily operations, drive efficiency, maintain compliance, and help scale production while supporting a positive team culture. Position Summary The Cannabis Manufacturing Production Lead / Manager is responsible for supervising day-to-day production operations, managing production staff, maintaining quality and compliance standards, and ensuring production goals are met safely and efficiently. This role requires strong leadership, organization, and experience in regulated manufacturing environments. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise daily cannabis manufacturing and packaging operations Manage production schedules to meet output and delivery targets Train, coach, and oversee production team members Ensure compliance with all state cannabis regulations, SOPs, GMP, and safety standards Monitor inventory, raw materials, and production supplies Maintain accurate production and compliance records Coordinate with quality assurance, compliance, and warehouse teams Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste Troubleshoot equipment and workflow issues Ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are maintained throughout the facility Track KPIs including productivity, yields, downtime, and labor performance Qualifications 2+ years of leadership experience in cannabis manufacturing, food production, pharmaceuticals, or related manufacturing Strong understanding of cannabis compliance and regulated production environments Experience managing teams in a fast-paced production setting Knowledge of extraction, infusion, packaging, or edible production preferred Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Strong communication and problem-solving skills Comfortable working on your feet Must meet all state requirements for employment in the cannabis industry Preferred Qualifications Experience with METRC or other cannabis tracking systems GMP or HACCP experience Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Pre roll Manufacturing experience is a major plus Benefits Competitive pay Paid time off Employee discounts Growth and advancement opportunities Supportive and team-oriented work environment
