Job Description

We are seeking a high-energy, hands-on Production Manager to lead day-to-day manufacturing operations. In this role, you will be the heartbeat of the production floor, ensuring that safety, quality, and efficiency aren't just goals, but daily realities. You will manage a designated production area-ranging from assembly and machining to advanced integration and soft goods-while scaling processes to meet aggressive growth targets. The ideal candidate is a strategic operator who can pivot from high-level workforce planning to technical problem-solving on the floor. You will partner with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to bridge the gap between design and delivery in a complex, fast-paced environment.
salary:
$90,000 - $140,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 6 AM - 4

Direct daily production activities to hit aggressive safety, quality, and delivery targets.
Team Development:
Build, mentor, and hold teams accountable, fostering a high-performance culture among leads and supervisors.
Cross-Functional Synergy:
Act as the primary liaison between production and departments like Engineering and Program Management to clear roadblocks and resolve technical challenges.
Process Optimization:
Monitor and improve key metrics including labor utilization, throughput, and scrap rates.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify bottlenecks and implement Lean initiatives to boost scalability and operational excellence.
Compliance & Safety:
Ensure strict adherence to manufacturing procedures, quality standards, and safety protocols.
Growth Support:
Lead workforce planning, hiring, and onboarding; assist in New Product Introduction (NPI) and production readiness activities. Bonus Points (Preferred) Direct experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing. Hands-on experience with production scale-up and NPI. Deep knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and AS9100 quality systems. Exposure to specialized processes such as machining, AI&T, composites, or textiles.
