We are looking for you to join our team as a Manager General Manufacturing 1 in San Diego, CA for 2nd Shift (2:30PM to 1:00AM). This position is projected to work a the Rancho Carmel site but could support the Spectrum Campus in Kearney Mesa. What you will get to do: Daily oversight of all aspects and phases of assembly and test with the manufacturing organization, overseeing 20-25 employees. Provide direction to employees utilizing management guidelines and general policies and procedures. Responsible for the safety and well-being of all manufacturing employees. Ensure all products are built and tested per requirements to produce quality products. Promote an atmosphere of engagement enabling employees to achieve their highest potential. Mentor, train, and develop staff including performance management and corrective action. Work closely with the support functions (Production Control, Manufacturing/Quality/Test Engineering) assist in setting priorities for the production teams. Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, delivery, efficiency and cost to meet schedule requirements. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated leadership skills and ability, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and will be proficient in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience; OR Master's degree with 1 or more years of experience; OR in lieu of a bachelor's degree, 7 or more years of relevant experience may be considered. Experience working with other functions such as Production Control, Manufacturing engineering, and Quality. Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance. US citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications:

Primary Level Salary Range:
$100,000.00 - $150,000.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
