2nd Shift Manufacturing Manager - Steel Fabrication Bentley Mission Critical / Bentley Welding Inc. Greeley, Colorado Full-Time | 2nd Shift Lead a High-Performance Manufacturing Team Bentley Mission Critical is seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Manufacturing Manager to lead our steel fabrication operations in Greeley, Colorado. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for the safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery of all second-shift operations. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with a strong background in welding and steel fabrication who understands how to drive performance through accountability, planning, training, and continuous improvement. This role oversees the entire manufacturing facility during the second shift and serves as the primary leader responsible for ensuring production goals are achieved while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. Responsibilities Lead all second-shift manufacturing operations within a structural steel and mission-critical fabrication facility Manage welders, fitters, machine operators, material handlers, and support personnel Drive a culture where Safety is First, Quality is Second, and On-Time Delivery is Third Ensure production schedules are executed, and customer commitments are met Monitor productivity, labor efficiency, and throughput metrics Coordinate with planning, scheduling, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams Conduct daily production meetings and shift handoffs Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions Coach, mentor, and develop frontline supervisors and production employees Ensure welding procedures, fabrication standards, and quality requirements are consistently followed Support lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement efforts Promote accountability and ownership throughout the facility Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient manufacturing environment QualificationsRequired Welding and steel fabrication experience Minimum 5 years of manufacturing leadership experience Strong understanding of structural steel fabrication processes Ability to read fabrication drawings and understand production workflows Experience managing large production teams Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to solve problems quickly and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment Strong commitment to safety and quality Preferred 5+ years of management experience within a structural steel fabrication facility CWI certification or advanced welding knowledge Experience with ERP systems and production scheduling Lean manufacturing experience Experience leading multiple departments or large fabrication facilities Experience with mission-critical, industrial, modular construction, or heavy manufacturing projects What Success Looks Like Projects ship on time Safety incidents are prevented Quality issues are eliminated before reaching customers Production teams have the materials and information needed to succeed Employees are trained, developed, and held accountable The facility operates efficiently with minimal waste and rework Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Performance bonus opportunities Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays 401(k) with company match Career advancement opportunities within a rapidly growing organization About Bentley Mission Critical Bentley Mission Critical designs, manufactures, and integrates modular mission-critical infrastructure for data centers and industrial facilities across North America.
