salary:
$80,000•$125,000 per year shift: First work hours: 7 AM•5 PM education:
High School Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Production Leadership:
Direct daily floor operations, schedule labor, and optimize machine capacity to meet delivery targets and track KPIs (OEE, scrap, on-time delivery).
Quality & Compliance:
Ensure all production processes conform strictly to
ISO 9001 / AS9100
Quality Management Systems. Partner with Quality team on root-cause analysis (CAPA), NCRs, and third-party audits.
Continuous Improvement:
Implement Lean Manufacturing (5S, Kaizen) to eliminate bottlenecks, reduce cycle times, and minimize material waste.
Maintenance & Inventory:
Coordinate with supply chain to align raw materials with production goals. Oversee preventative maintenance schedules to maximize machine uptime.
Safety:
Enforce OSHA compliance and foster a zero-injury culture. Qualifications 5+ years of production leadership experience in a precision machining or industrial manufacturing environment. Deep operational experience working within an ISO 9001 or AS9100 certified facility. Knowledgeable of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and ERP/MRP systems (e.g., Epicor, SAP). Proven ability to lead, mentor, and hold technical floor teams accountable.
