Production Manager Wharton-Smith - 3.7 Sanford, FL Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Primavera PlanGrid Bachelor's degree Production management software Budgeting software Primavera P6 Operational excellence initiatives Productivity software Process improvement planning Full Job Description Wharton-Smith, Inc is currently seeking an experienced Production Manager. In this role the successful candidate will support project teams in planning, coordinating, and executing work using the Wharton-Smith Production Management System (PMS). This role partners with Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams to improve workflow, planning reliability, and continuous improvement across all phases of construction. Key Responsibilities Coordinate pre-construction planning sessions and production strategies Support trade workflow and sequencing (Parade of Trades) Develop operational plans, work batches, and daily crew assignments Assist with Weekly Work Plans, Look-Ahead Schedules, and production boards Conduct Before Action and After Action Reviews Analyze variances and identify root causes impacting production Support project teams with on-site training and PMS implementation Capture lessons learned and support continuous improvement initiatives Train and mentor production staff and project teams Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field experience 5-10 years of commercial and/or water plant construction experience Strong focus on continuous improvement and waste reduction Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Plan Grid, Primavera P6, budget software, project management software; CAD or SketchUp a plus Work Environment Travel to jobsites as needed Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disability Wharton-Smith provides equal opportunity to qualified disabled veterans, Pre-JVA special disabled veterans and individuals with disabilities to online application systems by making reasonable accommodation to ensure equal access for submitting to job openings.
