Datacenter People are currently supporting a global specialist in liquid leak detection solutions in the search for a Site Director to lead their manufacturing operation in West Palm Beach, Florida . This is a senior leadership position with full responsibility for plant operations, manufacturing performance, safety, quality, workforce development and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will take ownership of a specialist manufacturing facility and play a key role in driving operational excellence, efficiency and long-term growth. The Opportunity You will lead all aspects of site operations, overseeing production, engineering, maintenance, quality, supply chain and environmental compliance. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on plant performance while shaping the future direction of a growing manufacturing operation focused on cable production and plastics extrusion processes. What the Job Involves... Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations across the facility Drive production output, quality, delivery and cost performance Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with business objectives Monitor and improve key manufacturing KPIs including OEE, downtime, throughput and scrap rates Lead continuous improvement initiatives across the operation Oversee maintenance, engineering and process optimization activities Manage health, safety and environmental compliance programs Support automation, digital manufacturing and capacity expansion projects Drive quality improvement and root-cause analysis activities Manage manufacturing costs, inventory performance and operational budgets Develop and mentor teams while promoting a culture of accountability and engagement Collaborate with supply chain, procurement and logistics teams to ensure customer delivery performance We're Looking for Someone Who... Experience leading manufacturing operations within an industrial production environment Strong operational leadership and people management capability Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or TPM Knowledge of manufacturing KPIs and operational performance management Experience driving safety, quality and productivity initiatives Strong commercial awareness and understanding of manufacturing cost control Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organisational change Experience within cable manufacturing, wire & cable, plastics extrusion, polymers, industrial manufacturing or related process industries would be particularly advantageous.
