Job Description

Plant Manager Position Summary The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the facility, including production, maintenance, scheduling, quality, safety, and personnel management. This role ensures projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in accordance with company quality standards. The Plant Manager will work closely with Engineering, Project Management, Procurement, and Operations teams to coordinate production activities, allocate resources, and drive continuous improvement throughout the facility. We are seeking a hands-on leader with strong organizational skills, technical aptitude, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Essential Responsibilities Operations & Production Manage daily plant operations and production activities. Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and resources to meet production schedules. Monitor productivity, quality, and operational performance. Identify and resolve production issues and bottlenecks. Scheduling & Coordination Work with Project Managers and Engineering teams to establish production priorities. Develop and maintain production schedules. Communicate project status and resource needs to leadership. Ensure departments are aligned to meet project deadlines. Facility & Maintenance Oversee facility maintenance and equipment reliability. Coordinate preventative maintenance programs and repairs. Ensure equipment and facility systems remain operational. Safety & Quality Promote a strong safety culture throughout the facility. Support company safety, quality, and compliance programs. Ensure products meet company and customer quality standards. Leadership Lead, develop, and support production personnel. Assist with hiring, training, and performance management. Foster teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Preferred Experience Experience in some combination of the following is preferred: Mechanical systems Electrical systems Plumbing systems Low-voltage systems Fire alarm systems Fire sprinkler systems Security electronics Security systems Facility maintenance Manufacturing operations Production management Additional experience in the following areas is a plus: Glazing systems Door and hardware systems Locks and locking systems Detention locks Detention equipment
Note:
Candidates are not expected to have experience in every area listed. We are willing to develop the right individual who possesses strong leadership skills, technical aptitude, and experience in several of these disciplines. Qualifications 5+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing, facility maintenance, construction, or related industries. Strong organizational and scheduling skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Experience leading teams and driving operational performance.

From $100,000.00 per year
