Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever. ## Summary Department Introduction The Manufacturing Alignment team partners across Micron's global manufacturing network to deliver world-class performance through standardized processes, equipment alignment, and best-known methods (BKMs). The team focuses on enabling scale, efficiency, and consistency by establishing global standards, training, and disciplined execution aligned to Micron's business strategy and four manufacturing pillars. Position Overview The Central Team Alignment Engineer drives global process and equipment alignment to improve manufacturing capability, cost, speed, quality, and people outcomes. This role leverages internal and external resources to deploy industry-benchmark methods, optimize utilization and efficiency, and ensure execution of global standards across manufacturing sites. Based in Boise, this position directly supports the ID1 HVM site through coaching, training, and implementation of HVM network BKMs, systems, and practices to enable site ramp, development, and integration into the global network. ## Responsibilities- Lead the development and execution of global alignment programs to drive network standardization and best-known method (BKM) adoption across manufacturing sites.
- Partner with site teams, TPM core teams, procurement, Global Quality, OCT partners, and suppliers to improve tool utilization, cost efficiency, and manufacturing performance.
- Drive improvements across Micron's manufacturing pillars (Scale, Speed, Quality, Cost, People), including ESTA execution, PM procedure alignment, scrap reduction, labor efficiency, and talent development programs.
- Lead global process-area and TPM core alignment teams to resolve chronic issues, eliminate waste, and close gaps to defined global standards.
- Define and track metrics to measure program effectiveness, implementation progress, and performance improvements; report results to site and corporate leadership.
- Develop, maintain, and deploy global libraries of process and workstation-level BKMs for equipment and process engineers.
- Support SEAL standardized system deployment, audits, and sustainment by coaching teams, assessing adoption, closing gaps, and eliminating redundant systems or procedures.
- ## Minimum Qualifications
- 3 years of experience at E4 level or above with proven knowledge of photo process and/or equipment methods, systems, and tools.
- Hands-on fab process area experience in photolithography.
- In-depth knowledge of Micron TPM and 6S programs.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across global, multi-functional teams and with external suppliers.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally as needed to support network initiatives. ## Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading or deploying global programs across multiple manufacturing sites.
- Experience working across multiple semiconductor process areas.
- Prior experience with Micron SEAL standardization processes and implementation of new systems within a process area.
