Role Description Reporting to the Foundry Manager, the Assistant Foundry Manager will gain comprehensive training while leading daily foundry operations. Qualifications Proven experience in foundry management, supervision, or a similar leadership role in a manufacturing/metalworking environment. In-depth knowledge of metal castings, including various methods (e.g., sand casting, die casting) and related foundry processes. Strong understanding of process integration, production scheduling, and optimization techniques to drive efficiency. Expertise in casting processes, materials handling, and operational best practices. Excellent organizational, leadership, and team-building skills with a hands-on approach. Superior problem-solving and decision-making abilities in high-pressure, dynamic settings. Ability to work on-site full-time in a physical, hands-on capacity in a foundry environment. Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Engineering, Materials Science, Foundry Management, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience strongly considered.
