The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for resource planning via the ERP System (and other tools) coordinating and monitoring product flow through the entire production cycle . Overall responsibilities include a high level of performance for all manufacturing operations, ensure quality standards are being followed, safety and environmental compliance is in place and being followed by all. All activities are being conducted in a safe and professional manner. Follow all AS9100 procedures and CMMC protocols and ensure they are Followed by All.
Duties and Areas of Responsibility:
Overall:
Knowledge of raw materials such as steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper Knowledge of manufacturing production processes Knowledge of manufacturing equipment: such as Manual and CNC lathes, 3 and 5 Axis Mills, Presses, CNC metal spinning equipment. Knowledge of programming for CNC equipment. Responsible for implementing and ensuring all Safety policies are followed, knowledge of OSHA standards, 5S initiatives for the entire plant. Participate in physical Inventory activities related to preparations, count, and location management.
Operations :
Establish and maintain accurate and current schedules, detailing the start and complete dates for work center activities. Communicate information clearly so others will understand. Direct and coordinate all manufacturing operations and process scheduling to meet customer demand, schedules, and achieve our operating plan. Problem solves operational issues that arise, maintaining production capacity required to meet customer expectations. Communicate with other teams timely if capacity is at risk. Enforce our quality and safety standards, inventory and labor reporting accuracy, and effective use of all equipment and space. Coordinate and collaborate with other teams, i.e. Operations, Production Supervisor, Quality, Customer Service, Engineering, Shipping & Receiving, Supply Chain to ensure that readiness is maintained, production starts are achieved, and customer demands and commitments are met. Participate in new order reviews with other members of the Operations Team. Complete due diligence by verifying availability of inventory, raw material, tooling requirements, programming and capacity availability to produce production orders. Review the accuracy of standard rates to establish the schedule to meet customer demand
