Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Assistant Plant Manager to support daily manufacturing and production operations within an industrial facility. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on: Production performance Team leadership Safety & compliance Operational efficiency Continuous improvement initiatives The ideal candidate will have experience leading teams in manufacturing, production, or industrial operations environments. Key Responsibilities Support daily plant and production operations Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and workflow priorities Supervise production leads and operators Drive operational efficiency and productivity improvements Monitor KPIs and assist with root cause analysis Maintain OSHA and company safety standards Support onboarding, training, and development of team members Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and operations teams Participate in audits, reporting, and compliance activities Qualifications Required 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience within: Manufacturing Production Industrial operations Strong understanding of: Safety standards Quality control Operational workflows Strong leadership and problem-solving skills Microsoft Office proficiency Experience using ERP or operational systems Preferred Bachelor's degree in: Engineering Manufacturing Operations Related technical field Lean / Continuous Improvement certifications Experience in: Industrial materials Chemicals Gases Regulated production environments Experience supporting hands-on operations in fast-paced manufacturing facilities Compensation & Benefits $100K-$126K base salary (depending on experience) Full benefits package: Medical Dental Vision Long-term stability and career growth Leadership development opportunities Safety-focused company culture
