We are building a high-performance team and are looking for a Production Manager to lead post-harvest operations, packaging, and logistics. Position Overview The Production Manager will oversee all post-harvest operations, including trimming, packaging, inventory flow, and METRC compliance. This role is critical in ensuring product moves efficiently from harvest to finished goods while maintaining quality, compliance, and production targets. You will be responsible for managing teams, improving workflow efficiency, and ensuring all products meet Illinois regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee trimming and packaging teams Coordinate daily production schedules to meet output goals Ensure accurate METRC tracking for all plant and package movements Maintain compliance with Illinois Department of Agriculture regulations Oversee inventory management, transfers, and logistics Optimize workflows for trimming, curing, and packaging efficiency Train, lead, and hold staff accountable to performance standards Maintain quality control standards for all finished products Coordinate with cultivation and distribution teams for seamless operations Track KPIs including yield, labor efficiency, and turnaround times Requirements Must be 21 years of age or older Must be able to pass a background check per Illinois cannabis regulations 2+ years experience in cannabis production or post-harvest operations Proven experience managing trimming and/or packaging teams Strong working knowledge of METRC Experience with inventory tracking, logistics, and compliance workflows Strong leadership and team management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-output environment Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in Illinois cannabis market Background in scaling production or improving workflow efficiency Familiarity with pre-roll production, bulk packaging, and labeling compliance Experience managing teams in high-volume environments Compensation Competitive salary (based on experience) Opportunity for growth within a rapidly expanding company Performance-based incentives Why Join Prohibition 37?
