In the capacity of Production Manager, you will manage the entire lifecycle of industrial equipment assembly, guaranteeing that all items are manufactured with safety and efficiency while meeting strict deadlines. Core Duties Direct all day-to-day assembly and production tasks, spanning from the receipt of raw components to the dispatch of finished goods. Mentor and cultivate a workforce comprised of maintenance staff, material handlers, and assembly technicians. Implement strategies to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency while minimizing waste across the floor. Track and enhance critical performance metrics, labor usage, and production timelines to ensure operational success. Leverage ERP platforms to coordinate material logistics, production scheduling, and overall execution. Work in tandem with Engineering, Procurement, and Quality teams to address challenges and ensure timely product delivery. Cultivate a workplace environment centered on safety, collective responsibility, and high employee engagement. Required Professional Background Over five years of experience in manufacturing leadership, specifically managing assembly or production cycles from start to finish (candidates with 3-4 years of strong experience will be reviewed). Demonstrated history of supervising hourly staff within a hands-on production setting. A track record of successfully spearheading lean manufacturing and operational improvement projects. Proficiency in utilizing ERP software, with a preference for SAP. Strong capabilities in identifying potential issues, resolving problems, and maintaining clear communication across various organizational levels.
