Production Manager

This is a hands on position in a Steel Container Manufacturing Shop. Experience with Steel Mig Welding and Fabrication are required. Must be able to lift 50lbs or more, on a regular basis. Must be able to kneel, bend, and stand throughout the duration of the day. Must be able to safely operate a forklift, or be willing to learn. This job requires a flexible employee willing to help and fill in for various positions as the need arises. Understanding of blueprints/drawings is not required but preferrable. Duties Plan, organize, and oversee daily production schedules to meet delivery deadlines and quality specifications Lead and motivate production teams, providing clear direction, training, and performance feedback Monitor production processes to identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies and implement effective solutions Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies across all production areas Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to manage raw materials inventory and minimize waste Conduct regular inspections of equipment and workspaces to maintain optimal operational conditions Document production activities, prepare reports on performance metrics, and analyze data for continuous improvement opportunities Skills Proven experience in manufacturing or production management with a strong understanding of production workflows Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset to address challenges swiftly Knowledge of safety regulations, quality assurance procedures, and industry best practices Effective communication skills for collaboration across departments and with external partners. Pay:

$27.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
