Job Description

MACHINING & MANUFACTURING PROGRAM DIRECTOR
9 Month Contract Full-time Staff Position
RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of the Machining & Manufacturing Program Director will be to teach up to 30 credit hours of coursework per year and oversee the program and advisory board. The Director will also recruit students and manage other program activities such as Perkins reporting. The Director is responsible for the safety, security, and operation of the Machining & Manufacturing instructional area and equipment. Position Description
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Associate degree with a manufacturing background or 5 or more years' experience in the machining and manufacturing industry.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in secondary and post-secondary education. Advising students and scheduling courses. Excel and CTE initiatives. Supervisory experience. Certification and/or training applicable to job requirements.
LOCATION
Hybrid. Classes and office are located at B&W Trailer Hitches in Humboldt, Kansas, with scheduled days on the Iola campus determined in collaboration with the Dean for Academic Affairs.
SALARY:
$45,000-$58,000 plus excellent benefits package.

Position is open until filled.
