The Assistant Plant Manager directs, coordinates, and manages all aspects of plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, and safety. This will be a variable shift position working Monday-Friday covering between 2nd and 3rd Shift.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, direct, coach, motivate, guide the efforts and development of the Plant Team to achieve Company objectives including quality and safety. Ensure plant operations are withing OSHA and FSMA guidelines and standards. Maintain communication and collaborate with Logistics, Accounting, Quality Control, Customer Service and Inventory Work with and support the Plant Manager drive successful operation of the plant. Oversee work schedules; hire, train, and onboard new employees; provide coaching and supervision to ensure a quality workforce. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

High school diploma, general education degree, or equivalent Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate verbally and writing throughout all levels of an organization, both internally and externally. Creative thinker with a problem-solving attitude. Strong organizational skills with the ability to schedule others. Forklift operation preferred Front loader operation preferred OSHA training preferred
