This position is responsible for ensuring efficient production, maintaining product quality, managing plant personnel, and promoting a safe working environment. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee all daily sand plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality control, and safety. Operate and monitor computerized control systems and manual controls used to process sand and aggregate materials. Coordinate the flow of materials throughout the plant to maximize production efficiency. Monitor and evaluate product quality, making adjustments as needed to meet specifications. Conduct pre-shift inspections by walking plant areas to identify safety concerns, equipment issues, or maintenance needs prior to startup. Supervise the operation and maintenance of material handling and conveyor systems. Ensure quality standards are maintained through visual inspections and necessary screen changes. Schedule and coordinate preventative maintenance, repairs, and plant clean-up activities. Assist with troubleshooting equipment and production issues to minimize downtime. Operate equipment such as skid steers and loaders when necessary for plant maintenance and housekeeping. Maintain compliance with all company policies, safety regulations, and environmental requirements. Lead, train, and develop plant personnel to promote a productive and safety-focused work environment. Qualifications Previous experience in aggregate, sand, mining, or construction material production preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Experience operating and maintaining processing equipment and conveyor systems. Leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to lift, climb, walk, and perform physical duties associated with plant operations. Commitment to workplace safety and quality control.
