Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated General Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive or high-volume manufacturing environments, with proven success driving operational performance, developing teams, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. This position requires a strategic and hands-on leader capable of balancing daily operational demands with long-term business objectives. The General Manager will be responsible for plant performance in the areas of safety, quality, productivity, cost, delivery, and human resource development while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead all daily manufacturing operations to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective production activities. Oversee production planning and scheduling to meet customer demand and delivery requirements. Drive continuous improvement activities utilizing Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and problem-solving methodologies. Manage plant KPIs related to safety, quality, productivity, cost, and delivery performance. Utilize ERP, SAP, and MRP systems to support operational planning, inventory control, and resource management. Lead quality assurance and quality control efforts to maintain customer and regulatory compliance standards. Collaborate with supply chain, logistics, purchasing, engineering, and production teams to optimize material flow and inventory management. Develop and mentor leadership teams to strengthen organizational capability and succession planning. Manage plant budgets, labor utilization, capital planning, and operational resources. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and manufacturing standards. Support new program launches, operational expansion activities, and strategic business initiatives. Conduct regular operational reviews and implement corrective actions to improve plant performance. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Management, or related field preferred. Minimum 7-10 years of leadership experience within manufacturing operations. Automotive manufacturing experience strongly preferred. Experience managing high-volume production environments with multiple departments. Strong working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPS principles, and continuous improvement systems. Proficiency with
SAP, MRP, ERP
systems, and production reporting tools. Experience with budget management, Client planning, and operational forecasting. Knowledge of
IATF/ISO
quality systems and manufacturing compliance standards preferred. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organizational change.
