As the Operational Excellence Manager , you will lead the deployment of a structured continuous improvement methodology, helping to scale people capabilities, achieve landmark performance improvements, and drive organizational reliability and agility.
Key Responsibilities Strategy, Deployment & Integration Strategy Alignment:
Ensure the integrated and collaborative deployment of site strategies to boost employee engagement and ownership.
Best Practices:
Deliver measurable value by standardizing and systemizing corporate and regional best practices.
Supply Chain & Digital:
Direct the site's end-to-end supply chain optimization and digital manufacturing journey in alignment with phased timelines.
Internal Communications:
Define and manage internal communication plans to guarantee robust top-down and bottom-up feedback loops that align with company objectives.
Safety & Sustainability Compliance:
Maintain total compliance with local laws, corporate environmental policies, and health and safety regulations.
Culture:
Foster a safety-first mindset by consistently leading by example and demonstrating positive safety behaviors.
Training:
Oversee and verify safety instruction, traineeships, and knowledge assessments for team members as legally required.
Program Execution:
Champion the deployment of lean operational excellence and sustainability tools to keep teams deeply engaged in sustainability initiatives.
Quality & Delivery Global Standards:
Align operations with global operating standards, facilitating sustainable knowledge sharing across daily management systems, standard work processes, and operational pillars.
Lean Manufacturing:
Lead the implementation of Lean manufacturing in accordance with regional strategy to build an integrated operating system.
Representation:
Represent the plant in regional and cluster workshops, ensuring local challenges and initiatives are effectively integrated into regional plans.
Loss Elimination:
Maintain ultimate accountability and governance for the deployment and long-term sustainability of loss elimination strategies.
Roadmap Development:
Conduct regular organization and process assessments to build efficient continuous improvement roadmaps in line with regional goals.
Leadership, Talent & Morale Organizational Design:
Establish an optimized organizational structure, including clear and robust career paths.
Talent Pipeline:
Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline to preserve continuous improvement expertise and capabilities.
Leadership Coaching:
Guide and support site leadership in championing a strong, sustainable continuous improvement culture.
Training Coordination:
Coordinate and manage training programs tied to new operational excellence initiatives.
Candidate Profile Required Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience across Manufacturing, Quality/LEAN, Product Development, Supply Chain, or equivalent fields. At least 3 years of experience directly managing and leading teams.
Core Knowledge:
Thorough understanding of integrated operating systems, lean/continuous improvement tools, manufacturing processes, and supply chain logistics.
Functional Expertise:
Familiarity with quality processes, product/project portfolio management, corporate sustainability practices, and standard HR processes.
Work Authorization:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
Active Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification. Strong background or experience in Change Management.
