Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead flagship operations at a medium-sized, 24x7, non-union chemical processing facility. This position will work onsite in the Greater Boston Area within commuting distance of Northern Boston. This role is responsible for driving production performance, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering a strong safety-first culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead daily manufacturing operations to ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are met Manage and develop a team of supervisors and production personnel, with 8 direct reports and up to 60 indirect Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize processes Continue to encourage and enforce Process Safety as daily culture Oversee production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation Partner with engineering, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve operational issues and improve plant performance Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions to meet performance targets Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards Support capital projects and process optimization effortsQualifications:
Bachelor's degree required; strong preference for Chemical Engineering or a related engineering discipline Minimum of 8 years of manufacturing experience, with at least 3 years in a Manufacturing Manager role Strong preference for polyurethane manufacturing experience and / or extrusion manufacturing experience Demonstrated success leading teams in a medium-sized plant environment Strong knowledge of process safety management (PSM) principles Proven ability to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsCompensation & Benefits:
Competitive base salary: $145,000 - $165,000 Bonus potential up to 20% Comprehensive benefits package Relocation package availableWhy Join:
