Bilingual (English/Spanish) Required About the Role We are seeking a strategic operations leader to join our team as a Plant Manager . In this role, you won't just be supervising tasks; you will be the architect of our operational excellence. You will act as a vital business partner to the CEO, translating company strategy into scalable production systems and high-performing teams. As the Plant Manager, you will lead through your Production Managers, ensuring our facility meets the highest standards of food safety, cost control, and sustainable growth. What You Will Do Strategic Productivity (35%): Design and standardize plant-wide production systems (grinding, mixing, packaging, etc.) and establish KPIs for labor efficiency and waste reduction. Food Safety & Compliance (20%): Own the plant's regulatory framework, ensuring 100% compliance with USDA-FSIS, HACCP, and SQF standards. Leadership Development (20%): Develop Production Managers into business leaders, drive succession planning, and foster a culture of operational discipline. Performance Reporting (10%): Lead root-cause analysis on productivity losses and provide executive-level reports on cost per pound, yield variance, and OEE. Continuous Improvement (10%): Identify automation opportunities and partner with Maintenance and Quality to remove operational bottlenecks.
Required Qualifications Experience:
7-10+ years of progressive leadership in food manufacturing.
Management:
Minimum 3-5 years specifically managing other managers in a production environment.
Technical Knowledge:
Strong expertise in USDA, HACCP, and SQF systems.
Language:
Must be fluently bilingual in English and Spanish .
Skills:
Proven ability to scale operations, improve plant performance, and utilize strong analytical/reporting skills. Working Conditions Work is performed in a combination of office, warehouse, and refrigerated production environments .
