Production Plant Manager (Injection Molding)

We are seeking a hard-working Production Manager that will supervise the activity of the production department and staff. This position offers the opportunity to be a key part of the management team, implement change, and be part of the future direction of the company.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Responsible for three production shifts activities and staff.
• Oversee all work centers, work instructions, mold catalog, preventative maintenance activities.
• Oversee, develop, and conduct new part qualifications and process control, IQOQPQ.
• Maintains compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Injection molding experience, processing capability, mold evaluation, troubleshooting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Ability to handle frequent interruptions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Reliable and trustworthy.

Education and Experience:

• Ten (10) years of experience in molding with a proven history of successful molding and management skills.
• Technical knowledge of plastic injection molding equipment, automation, tooling development, and injection molding processes.
• Understanding of mold design/development (building molds/trials), making recommendations for mold-ability issues.
• Experienced in developing teams (training, mentoring, hiring, etc.
