Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Modular Plant Manager to lead the operations of our modular manufacturing facility. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of plant management, ensuring seamless production processes, optimal resource utilization, and continuous improvement initiatives. Your leadership will drive efficiency, uphold quality standards, and foster a safety-first environment, all while aligning operations with company goals and customer expectations. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate all manufacturing activities within the modular plant to meet production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules. Implement and sustain lean manufacturing principles and process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize workflow. Manage production planning using ERP systems such as SAP and MRP tools to ensure timely procurement of materials and efficient scheduling. Oversee supply chain management and logistics to maintain seamless material flow, inventory accuracy, and supply chain analytics for continuous optimization. Supervise plant personnel, including assembly teams, technicians, and supervisors, fostering a collaborative environment focused on safety, quality, and operational excellence. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency, quality control, safety compliance, and cost management; take corrective actions as needed. Drive initiatives in process improvement, equipment maintenance, mechanical troubleshooting, and quality assurance to uphold high standards across all operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product launches, process upgrades, and integration of ERP systems for enhanced manufacturing agility. Experience Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in modular or assembly-based industries. Strong knowledge of SAP ERP systems, MRP processes, and supply chain analytics to support production planning and inventory control. Demonstrated expertise in lean manufacturing methodologies such as 5S, Kaizen or Six Sigma to promote continuous improvement initiatives. Familiarity with plant management practices including safety protocols, quality control procedures, mechanical systems troubleshooting, and process optimization. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, manage change effectively, and communicate clearly across all levels of the organization. Mechanical knowledge combined with experience in process improvement techniques will be highly advantageous for success in this role.
