Saint-Gobain, has an excellent career opportunity for an experienced Plant Manager to join our team- This position is based in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, known for incredible fishing, hunting, and variety of outdoor activities
- What's the job?
Leadership:
As the Plant Manager, you'll oversee the CertainTeed Ceilings L'Anse, MI manufacturing plant, providing clear objectives and feedback to plant personnel. You'll coach your direct reports for optimal performance, empower them to achieve both the plants and their individual objectives, and maintain a secure environment free from harassment and discrimination. You'll communicate regularly with plant employees to understand opportunities for recognition, improvement, and collaboration.Manufacturing Management:
You'll manage production, warehouse, and maintenance personnel to manufacture quality products while achieving world-class levels of safety, housekeeping, yield, availability, and cost performance. You'll ensure the safe, effective, and efficient utilization of labor, materials, equipment, and in-process inventories. You'll lead focused improvement projects and professional training activities to meet developmental goals. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline. 10-15 years of manufacturing experience in progressive leadership roles, preferably with experience in mineral fiber processing.- #LI-KM1 Through the responsible development of innovative and sustainable building products, CertainTeed , headquartered in Malvern, Pennsylvania, has helped shape the building products industry for more than 110 years.
