General Filters, Inc manufactures and markets a full line of whole house, residential HVAC indoor air quality products including humidifiers, dehumidifiers, air purifiers, air cleaners and filters under brand names GeneralAire®, HealthyAire® and CGF Products. We are looking for someone who enjoys and is skilled at running an efficient and organized production facility, is mechanically inclined, has a hands-on "get it done" mindset, and prefers working in a family atmosphere. You will work closely with peers from other departments to develop a comprehensive plan to efficiently run a plant with team safety as the number one priority. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Production Manage all plant production operations Maintains organized priorities and meets deadlines Maintains 6S Principles LEAN manufacturing Inventory Control Cycle Count accuracy & discrepancy investigation Shipping & Receiving Department accuracy Prepares and conducts annual physical inventory Interact with various departments as needed (Engineering, Customer Service, Purchasing, Sales) Personnel Staffing needs ranging from 20-25 full time employees 0-6 temporary if/when needed One shift operating four 10-hour days (Mon-Thurs) Daily production job assignments Overtime scheduling when needed on Fridays Weekly payroll preparation (reviewing and approval of timecards) Employee policy training and disciplinary actions Production vacation scheduling Team building & morale Incentive systems and morale booster programs OSHA compliance First Aid/First Responder Continuous Improvement Kaizen process and efficiency improvements Organization of warehouses and production areas Documentation of SOP's to support efficient operations Implement quality system modeiling ISO Maintenance Manage maintenance department Daily maintenance requirements Preventive Maintenance program Assist with maintenance functions as necessary to assure equipment is in top condition

QUALIFICATIONS

Four year college degree preferred but not required A proven record of efficient plant management 6S and Lean manufacturing experience Continuous Improvement examples Building and machinery maintenance experience Proficient in Microsoft Office package, maintenance software and Epicor(preferred) or other ERP software Hands on, self-starter, and self -directed with the ability to wear many hats in a small company environment Ability to work with team members from all departments and respect the contributions of all individuals
