Job Description

Job Summary:
Overseeing the Manufacturing team to ensure compliance with customer requirements for CNC Machining and Assembly. This position is responsible for developing the schedule for machining and assembly to follow using our Made 2 Manage ERP system. This role leads quality assurance, documentation control, internal audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement activities while ensuring quality, delivery, and cost objectives are achieved. This requires strong leadership skills, organizational skills, manufacturing processing knowledge, print reading, and ERP navigation skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Direct and coordinate daily manufacturing activities across CNC machining, quality inspection, and assembly departments. Develop and manage production schedules to ensure on-time delivery and efficient workflow. Monitor machine utilization, labor efficiency and throughput Support scheduling priorities and capacity planning in a high-mix, low-to-medium volume manufacturing environment. Utilize ERP systems for production tracking, inventory management, scheduling, labor reporting, and operational planning. Collaborate with engineering, purchasing, and customer service to resolve production issues. Lead, coach, and develop approximately 20 manufacturing employees including machinists and assemblers. Promote accountability, teamwork, and a positive shop culture. Conduct regular performance evaluations and support employee development initiatives Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and workforce planning. Ensure compliance with customer specifications and internal quality standards. Drive corrective actions and root cause analysis for quality issues. Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, waste reduction, and operational efficiency. Support lean manufacturing and 5S initiatives throughout the facility. Maintain a safe and organized manufacturing environment. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
Education/Skills/Abilities:
5+ years in manufacturing supervision/leadership in CNC Machining or metal manufacturing. Strong understanding of CNC Machining processes, quality systems, and manufacturing operations. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, manufacturing documentation (routings) and schedules. Solid organizational, problem solving, and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. AAS degree in Manufacturing or engineering preferred
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
Working conditions are normal for the office and manufacturing environment. Work may involve lifting of materials and product up to 20 pounds. When working in the manufacturing environment, requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to safety glasses. Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted in manufacturing. From $75,000.00 per year
