The Manufacturing Plant Manager will develop and execute manufacturing strategies that meet or exceed operational business objectives and optimize the utilization of both capital and human resources. The Manufacturing Plant Manager must possess an understanding and passion for developing people, and a preferred candidate will possess an understanding of medical and defense industry standards for how PCBA interconnect flex circuits and Thermofoil heating solutions are produced. Essential Job Duties § Ensure all safety aspects are considered and in compliance across all manufacturing activities. § Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing and lead participation in implementing and sustaining initiatives that impact quality, delivery and cost performance. § Help establish and execute operational objectives and KPIs as they roll down from strategic business plans and corporate objectives. § Define and execute projects, programs and procedures in line with strategic plans and annual operating objectives. § Direct and align manufacturing execution in accordance with Quality Management System, production planning, maintenance, and logistics. § Effectively plan resource utilization to ensure the successful launch and/or implementation of new products, platforms, processes, and controls to meet or exceed demand schedules. § Champion, promote, and motivate teams to execute ongoing continuous improvement and value add project efforts. § Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to identify, correct, and prevent non-conformance issues. § Manage operational budgets as assigned; analyze, monitor, and adjust as needed. § Identify staffing requirements, training plans, personnel development, and performance evaluations or dismissal decisions as necessary. § Generate reports and project plans for executive review. Education § Bachelor's degree with a technical or business management focus (ie. Manufacturing Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration Experience and/or Training § Minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing management role, or a minimum of 10 years of progressive manufacturing management responsibilities. § 5 years of experience managing production in compliance within a Quality Management System, with certifications (QMAS, ISO, NadCap, IPC, etc.) § A proven track-record of leading LEAN Manufacturing improvements, implementing and sustaining 5S, 6Sigma, Theory of Constraints and Cell Manufacturing. § A proven track-record of understanding and influencing
COGS, P&L
statements and managing budgets focused on capital and headcount. § A minimum of 3 years working within an established ERP system, and proven ability to manage resources and schedules within the system. We offer a competitive base salary in the $110,000 to $150,000 range, based on experience and qualifications, along with annual bonus and profit-sharing opportunities tied to performance.
