As we continue to grow, we're looking for a hands-on Production Manager to lead our Kansas City hose assembly operation. What You'll Do As Production Manager, you'll oversee the daily operations of our hydraulic hose assembly department while helping build a positive, productive, and quality-focused team culture. Key Responsibilities Lead and support a team of production and warehouse personnel Plan, prioritize, and schedule customer production orders to meet delivery commitments Coordinate workflow and assign daily production tasks Ensure compliance with ISO-certified quality standards and procedures Inspect materials and finished assemblies to maintain exceptional quality Monitor productivity, identify process improvements, and drive operational efficiency Assist with cutting, assembling, crimping, and testing hydraulic hose assemblies as needed Oversee shipping, receiving, packaging, and inventory-related activities Train, mentor, and develop team members through cross-training initiatives Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement What We're Looking For Qualifications 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, or warehouse operations Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to lead by example and work alongside the team when needed Commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Mechanical aptitude and experience working with production equipment and tools Experience with hydraulic hose assembly, fluid power products, or industrial manufacturing is a plus Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a major plus Why Join KR Johnson?
