We are seeking an experienced Mill Manager to lead a large-scale lumber manufacturing facility in Magnolia, Mississippi. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving safety, operational excellence, and overall site performance. This position oversees approximately 165 employees , with 8-10 direct reports , and plays a critical role in ensuring safe, reliable operations while delivering products on time and in full. Key Responsibilities Champion a culture of safety, integrity, and accountability Lead efforts to maintain an injury-free workplace through strong safety systems and engagement Foster a people-focused environment that drives engagement and performance Oversee daily manufacturing operations to meet quality, productivity, and delivery goals Own site performance across reliability, cost, inventory, and financial results Lead planning processes including capital planning, budgeting, and performance management Develop and coach leaders, building a strong pipeline of future talent Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the operation Qualifications 10+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment Proven success in safety, quality, productivity, cost control, and people development Strong business and financial acumen (P&L ownership) Demonstrated ability to build high-performing teams and positive culture Experience engaging teams in behavior-based safety practices Excellent communication and leadership skills Strong organizational and planning capabilities Ability to work in a 24/7 manufacturing environment Preferred Experience Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Forestry, or related field Experience in wood products, lumber, or similar industries (highly preferred) Knowledge of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools Background in reliability and asset lifecycle managementSimilar jobs in Daleville, MS
