Meat Processing Plant Manager

Job Overview We are looking for a highly organized and results-driven Meat Processing Facility Manager to oversee daily operations at our nonprofit meat processing plant. In this role, you will be responsible for streamlining production, coordinating scheduling, ensuring safety compliance, and managing a team to meet our processing goals.

Key Responsibilities Operations Management:

Oversee the day-to-day meat processing operations, ensuring production targets and quality standards are met efficiently.

Team Leadership:

Recruit, train, schedule, and mentor production and processing facility staff.

Safety & Compliance:

Enforce all OSHA, FSIS/USDA, HACCP, and internal safety protocols to maintain a hazard-free work environment.

Maintenance Scheduling:

Coordinate with maintenance people to ensure all machinery and processing equipment is running optimally to prevent downtime.

Process Improvement:

Identify bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement strategies Qualifications Preferred time of [2-5] years of experience in a processing, manufacturing, or operations management role. Strong understanding of industrial equipment, facility maintenance, and supply chain logistics. Proven track record of leading, motivating, and managing cross-functional teams. Exceptional problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail and cleanliness.

Pay:

$30.00 - $40.00 per hour
