Job Description

Job description: Longworth Industries is seeking a Plant Manager to join our team in Candor, NC. Longworth Industries operates a made in the USA military division that manufactures and goes to market with high performance base layer and next to skin apparel and accessories under the brand, XGO. As the Plant Manager, you will become a part of our reputable corporation. Reporting directly to the VP of Operations, you will be key part of manufacturing and operations as we continue to build upon our success and brand strengths.
Responsibilities:
Review daily and weekly order reports Lead all plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, logistics and inventory control Own the site P&L performance including; labor, materials, maintenance costs, cost reduction and margin improvement Work with Customer Services and Sales team on current and future orders Capability to perform time studies and cost appropriately Purchasing fabric/raw materials: review shortages against current and future orders
Planning:
deliver production output aligned with demand forecasts, ensure samples are delivered on time against calendar Review production plans with current and forecasted orders; monitor product lead times Review sewing, packing and cutting productivity to meet delivery date Monitor fabric mill working loss: review and signoff on all fabric specifications, ensure garment specifications are being implemented Develop and review annual budget/monitor budget (fixed, variable and raw materials) Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment. Bachelor's degree in business management, Engineering, Finance, or related field. Software programs include but are not limited to: Outlook, Microsoft Office, ABS Excellent verbal and written communications skills required Knowledge of computer network systems: AS400 preferred

From $100,000.00 per year
