This pivotal role involves managing production processes, ensuring safety compliance, optimizing operational efficiency, and leading a team of dedicated staff. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, technical expertise in plant operations, and a commitment to continuous improvement. By maintaining high standards of quality and safety, the Plant Operations Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the company's growth and operational excellence. Duties Oversee all aspects of plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality assurance, and safety protocols. Develop and implement operational strategies to maximize efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness. Lead and motivate a diverse team of supervisors and staff to achieve operational goals. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and environmental standards through regular audits and training. Coordinate with procurement to manage inventory levels and ensure timely availability of raw materials. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production output, quality metrics, and safety incidents. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices across the facility. Manage maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan. Collaborate with senior management to develop budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety awareness, and accountability throughout the plant. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or a related field; advanced certifications are a plus. Minimum of 5 years of experience in plant or manufacturing operations management. Strong knowledge of production processes, safety regulations, and environmental standards. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze operational data for decision-making. Proficiency in manufacturing software systems (e.g., ERP systems) and MS Office Suite. Exceptional communication skills to coordinate across departments and with external partners.
