Job Description

Unlock your career potential! Join our team as a Quality Engineer focusing on glass tempering. Make a direct impact on safety, quality, throughput, and cost improvement in an advanced manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do:
Process Optimization Analyze and optimize glass fabrication and tempering processes to increase efficiency Implement lean tools (5S, SOP, visual management) and lead Kaizen events Collaborate with operations to eliminate production bottlenecks Partner with safety teams to champion facility safety initiatives Quality Control Maintain and improve internal/external quality programs Respond to quality issues to minimize customer impact Investigate and resolve field quality issues Develop and track KPIs to drive corrective and preventive action Technical Support Be the technical expert for Sales, Customer Service, Operations, and Customers Advise on manufacturability, hardware, glass options, and tolerances Review drawings and DXF files to support customer service and CNC programmers What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Materials, Quality Engineering OR equivalent experience Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and products Six Sigma Green Belt certification Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace Hands-on work ethic Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills Physical & Environmental Requirements Extended periods of sitting, standing, moderate lifting, bending, and reaching Frequent work near moving machinery, heat, and loud noise PPE required: safety glasses, hard hats, protective clothing Why Join Us?
