General Manager Are you an experienced leader in plant operations looking to make an impact? We are seeking a Plant Manager to oversee and drive the day-to-day production, safety, and staffing at our Grafton potato storage and wash plant facility. Why Join Us? Our season is busy from Sept-June, but we use the summer months to slow down, catch up on projects, and improve the facilities. Join a long-standing leader in the Red River Valley's agricultural industry.Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily plant operations to ensure production efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. Lead, mentor, and develop floor supervisors and hourly staff, fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork. Collaborate closely with upper management to monitor inventory levels, assess bin quality, and address any issues or conditions affecting storage bins. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations. Oversee scheduling, staffing, and training needs in collaboration with upper management.Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in plant or manufacturing management preferred (Potato/agricultural processing preferred). High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in business administration, logistics, or related field preferred. Strong leadership and communication skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment. Proven track record of managing people, processes, and performance. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Excellent attention to accuracy and detail, especially for compliance and records management. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Physical Requirements & Environment Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods on concrete floors. Must be comfortable climbing and accessing equipment in tight or elevated spaces to inspect operations. Ability to frequently lift 50 lbs and occasionally move up to 75 lbs. Comfortable working in a facility with varying temperatures and around moving machinery and noise. This is a "boots on the ground" role requiring a near constant presence on the production floor to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency.Pay:
$70,000.00- $105,000.
