Job Description
Production Manager - Avid Restoration (Omaha, NE) Avid Restoration is growing fast, and we're looking for a Production Manager who can own the full production workflow—from ordering materials to leading crews to training project managers on how to run jobs the Avid way. This role is central to our reputation for fast response, clean communication, and highquality exterior work. About the Role The Production Manager ensures every job moves smoothly from approval to completion. You'll coordinate materials, schedule crews, verify production quality, and train project managers on consistent processes and expectations. This is a leadership role with direct impact on customer satisfaction, profitability, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities Material Ordering:
Source, order, and track roofing/exterior materials; maintain vendor relationships; ensure timely delivery to job sites.Crew Scheduling:
Assign crews based on skill, availability, and job requirements; maintain a predictable production calendar.Production Oversight:
Conduct preproduction reviews, midjob checkins, and final inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are met.PM Training:
Train project managers on production procedures, job flow, documentation, and communication expectations.Workflow Management:
Maintain and improve Avid's production processes, checklists, and SOPs.Job Costing Support:
Verify labor, materials, supplements, and change orders for accuracy.Communication:
Coordinate with PMs, clients, and property managers to ensure clear, timely updates.Safety & Compliance:
Enforce safety protocols, site cleanliness, and compliance requirements. Qualifications 3+ years in roofing, exterior construction, or restoration production Strong understanding of materials, labor, and job sequencing Ability to train and lead project managers and crews Excellent communication and organizational skills Comfortable with technology, scheduling tools, and documentation systems Valid driver's license and ability to visit job sites regularlyPay:
