Job Description

You will be the leader of a cutting edge Meat Processing Company that is thinking outside of the box. You will be responsible for 25+ people. Following USDA standards are a must, but being creative and creating and communication with others is a key. Our food pyramid is bullshit, and we want to provide people amazing options while building a better future for our kids and future generations. If food production and innovation get you excited, this is the career for you. We are very selective and only higher the best of the best. Each candidate will be required to sign an NDA, as what we do is proprietary, and cutting edge. Positive mindset and ability to work 55 hours a week are standard.
SOME ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS HACCP/ USDA
experience Understand, follow, and enforce company's policies and protocols. Assure the production of the required quality and quantity of products. Maintain the plant in a safe and inspection ready state. Ensure production schedules are met to maintain predetermined finished goods inventory levels. Hire, train, motivate, discipline, monitor and evaluate performance of the plant employees. Drive metrics and review plant performance. Production, yield, efficiencies, labor utilization, financial results.
SOME REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/ TRAITS
Minimum of 5 years of successful experience in various leadership roles in the processing of food products. Minimum of 5 years experience in
HACCP/ USDA/ FSIS
work environment Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and be flexible by adjusting priorities. Bilingual/ Spanish preferred Bachelor's Degree in related field (Business and/or Food Industry) is preferred.
