Preferably someone who is detail-oriented, can collaborate and lead a team, and has worked in this field before. The pay will reflect your experience in this field. Responsibilities Supervise all aspects of warehouse distribution, including shipping, receiving, and materials handling to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Manage inventory systems to maintain accurate stock levels and facilitate inventory control. Lead and develop a team of warehouse staff and supervisors, promoting a collaborative environment focused on safety, productivity, and continuous improvement. Oversee the operation of forklift equipment and other mechanical tools, ensuring proper usage and adherence to OSHA safety standards. Maintain compliance with safety regulations, including OSHA standards, ensuring all team members are trained in safe materials handling and heavy lifting procedures. Coordinate and communicate with other employees, administration, and higher management. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse management or supervisory roles within a fast-paced distribution environment. Experience with window/glass manufacturing is preferred. Strong knowledge of inventory management systems, warehouse management systems, and logistics operations. Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while fostering a positive work environment. Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and other materials handling machinery. Valid forklift certification and familiarity with OSHA safety standards are highly desirable. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and process improvement initiatives.
