Plant Manager Promotional Products & Food Production Hicksville, NY Salary Range:

Through divisions such as NC Custom, Chocolate Inn, AmuseMints, and Lanco, we deliver high-quality, customized solutions with speed, precision, and scale.Our operations are built to support high-volume, high-mix production with rapid turnaround times, often within 2472 hours, while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality. Position OverviewWe are seeking a high-impact Plant Manager to lead day-to-day operations across a fast-paced promotional products environment, including food and chocolate production, fulfillment, and packaging.
This is a hands-on leadership role focused on execution, accountability, and performance. The Plant Manager will own the floor, lead teams across shifts, and ensure the operation is set up for success from close to open every day. Key Responsibilities Operational LeadershipLead all daily plant operations across production, fulfillment, and shippingDrive execution to meet aggressive ship dates in a high-volume, short lead-time environmentMaintain full visibility across all orders and actively order chase to ensure nothing falls behindEnsure operational readiness from close to open, including staffing, materials, and priorities Throughput & EfficiencyImprove output across all departments, with a strong focus on bottleneck identification and resolutionDrive labor efficiency and manage payroll within budget expectationsImplement process improvements to increase throughput without adding unnecessary costBalance workload across departments to maintain consistent production flow Team Leadership & AccountabilityLead, coach, and develop supervisors and production teams across the facilityEstablish and enforce clear performance expectations and daily metricsHold teams accountable to productivity, quality, and safety standardsBuild a culture of urgency, ownership, and continuous improvement Scheduling & Execution AlignmentPartner closely with Scheduling and Planning to ensure realistic, executable production plansEnsure alignment between production, packing, and shipping operationsMonitor real-time performance and adjust labor and resources as needed Food Safety & ComplianceEnsure full compliance with GMP, FDA, HACCP, and all food safety requirementsMaintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready facility at all timesPartner with QA/QC to uphold product integrity, consistency, and regulatory standards Cross-Functional CoordinationCollaborate with Customer Service, Sales, and Operations LeadershipProvide clear communication on order status, risks, and recovery plansSupport new product launches and ensure operational readiness for new items Qualifications710+ years of plant or operations management experienceBackground in food production, packaging, or regulated manufacturing requiredExperience in high-mix, high-volume environments with short lead timesStrong working knowledge of:
