Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Night Shift Manager and lead the charge during our overnight operations! This energetic role is perfect for a proactive, detail-oriented professional passionate about manufacturing excellence. As a Night Shift Manager, you will oversee production activities, ensure seamless operations, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and quality. Your leadership will empower teams to meet production goals while maintaining safety standards and fostering a culture of innovation. Duties Manage and coordinate all manufacturing activities during the night shift, ensuring production schedules are met efficiently and safely. Supervise and motivate team members, providing clear direction, support, and performance feedback to maximize productivity. Oversee production planning using ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems such as SAP to align resources with demand forecasts and optimize workflow. Implement and monitor lean manufacturing principles and process improvements to reduce waste, enhance quality, and increase throughput. Utilize supply chain analytics and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) tools to manage inventory levels, procurement, and logistics for uninterrupted operations. Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure products meet specifications and compliance standards. Collaborate with maintenance teams to address mechanical issues promptly, leveraging mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting when necessary. Drive safety initiatives by enforcing safety protocols, conducting audits, and promoting a safe working environment during the night shift. Skills Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment with a focus on plant management. Strong knowledge of ERP systems like SAP and MRP for effective production planning and supply chain management. Expertise in lean manufacturing methodologies, process improvement strategies, and continuous improvement initiatives. Solid understanding of supply chain management, including logistics, inventory control, and supply chain analytics. Mechanical knowledge relevant to manufacturing equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively during overnight hours. Familiarity with quality control procedures and safety regulations applicable to manufacturing settings. Pay:
$90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
