Production Manager

Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. Duties Set up, operate, and monitor various manufacturing machines including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, flexo presses, press brake machines, and CNC programming equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) files to ensure accurate production. Utilize programming skills such as Fanuc, CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing), CNC programming, and SolidWorks to optimize machine performance. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to minimize downtime and ensure safety standards are met. Use precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions and maintain quality control throughout the production process. Handle materials with forklifts and other materials handling equipment to ensure smooth workflow within the manufacturing facility. Assist in fabrication, assembly line tasks, tooling setup, welding, and packaging operations as needed to meet production targets. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Document production data accurately and report any issues or deviations promptly for resolution. Qualifications Proven experience operating manufacturing machinery such as CNC mills, CNC lathes, stamping presses, flexo presses, or similar equipment within a factory or manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications. Familiarity with Fanuc controls, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), CAM programming, CAD software like SolidWorks, and CNC programming is highly desirable. Ability to use precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, and other quality control instruments. Experience with tooling setup, fabrication techniques including welding, assembly line processes, materials handling using forklifts, and basic math skills required for precise measurements. Knowledge of safety procedures related to factory operations and machinery maintenance. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting equipment issues quickly. Warehouse experience or familiarity with factory logistics is a plus.
